Rocky Balboa Movie Review

This Movie Review is really only for Adam Samons a Link to his Blog is just on the right hand side of this webpage, called "What's Adam Doing?"

Last week I was on Vacation My wife was working, I had nothing to do. I decided to see a movie. The choice was between Eragon (a previous book I read) and Rocky! So many Rocky movies during my childhood came out. How could I pass up the last Rocky Movie? Yo Adrian!!! Here I come!!!

Come to find out, Adrian is dead. (She was ugly anyway who cares). Rocky thinks he has some juice left in this one. He wants to give it another go around. It just so happens, Dixon "The Line" Mason played by Antonio Tarvar, is very unpopular he's the heavyweight champ and the boxing pool is really watered down with no talent. (Sound Familiar?). Another funny thing happens is ESPN does this virtual boxing match between Rocky and Mason. It just so happened that the computer thinks Rocky wins the fight. Since Rocky is pulling a Foreman and trying to make a comeback. Masons agents think it would be a great PR move for him to give Rocky an exhibition fight.

To make a long story short. They both agree and right before the fight the best quote of the movie. Mason is talking to Rocky. He tells him he just going to take it easy on Rocky and Make him look good. Rocky takes it as insult. Mason says he's younger, faster, better. Rocky says "It ain't over till its over" Mason say's wasn’t that from the 80's Rocky responds "Actually I think it might have been the 70's" The movie was moving along pretty decent to this point. Rocky finds a new girlfriend (yes, prettier then Adrian, kind of average looking. Although he could have found a prettier chick IMO.) When the fight started it was the typical Rocky fight. He takes a beating somewhere in the fight he finds himself and beats the crap out of his opponent. It's worth mentioning that Mason broke his hand during the fight. Which is why Rocky is able to stay in it. Rocky goes the full 1o or 12 rounds beats the crap out of Mason.

The ending is a little different then the typical Rocky Movies. This time Rocky loses in the end by decision but he gets a ton of respect a standing ovation everyone is happy.
